Absence Request
How do I take an excused absence?
Courtesy dictates that you let us know as soon as possible ahead of time that you will be missing a rehearsal.
1. There will be an "Absence Record Book" at rehearsal every week with a separate page for every date of a rehearsal. As soon as you know you will be absent, find the page with the date in the "Absence Record Book" and write your name and the reason for your absence.
2. If you are sick or there is an emergency here is what to do: If you will be missing a rehearsal, call and leave a message for Ann at the PYP office, 503.223.5939 ext. 102. If you will be missing a concert, call Ann immediately on her cell phone (found in the Musician's Handbook), so we can make sure your part will be covered.
